Loud As Stone

In Loud as Stone we go in search of the story and the relationship we have with earth and stone as materials in technology an construction. As such it's also a little inside joke between myself and the team of Arcitectenbureau van De Putte. This ineer courtyard is shared with a neighbouring fphysical therapist and both teams like to enjoy a space outside to relax and have meetings. 

As constructional elements we choose for Corten steel with the typical red brown coloring combined with laqued elements and detailing. The funriture has a styling with a reflection to crystaline structures combining with the dark grey tiling we create a shuch a kind of geode. 

In this project we gave additional thought to lightnig as such the identity of the space chages drastically between night and day.
